Here is a picture of Rockefeller ice at night.  NY is prettier at night like I promised.

Florida, however, is perfectly beautiful during the day. See:

can you see the ‘grey bow’.  My mom says that’s a thing.

So it finally got warm enough here to go to the beach.  Not to go swimming or anything but I got some interesting pictures.  Justin and I got married at this beach.  They tore down the gazebo where we got married a few months ago and built a new one a few yards away.  This is all that is left of my marriage gazebo.

The new one is not nearly as quaint and the ocean is not as visible.

balls

These are some amazing christmas decorations from NYC.  Everything was even prettier in the dark but it was too cold to take pictures at night. However I did get a few.

It is finally warming up here.  I’m still freezing.

Grinch

I wonder what he is taking a picture of..

2014

So it is still really cold here.  It is supposed to be warm by Friday. But right now I still feel like I’m in New York but without all the cool stuff, no where cool to go, and no way cool to get there.  Just coldness!  Heat pumps were not made for these kinds of temperatures.  And the heating power of a candle leaves much to be desired. I did get some new snuggly blankets and I was actually a little too warm last night.

confetti

And I can not believe how much confetti falls from the sky in Times Square!  It is the most amazing thing that I have ever seen.

Happy New Year

SO for my birthday Justin got us a trip to New York for New Years Eve!  It was amazing!  We stayed at the Double Tree on the 37th floor.  We could not see the ball drop from our room but we could see lots of other interesting stuff, like traffic.

It really pisses me off when people post things that start with  “That”.  (Like  ” that moment” or ” that feeling”.).   It doesn’t make sense and isn’t even a complete sentence but for some reason it is trendy to do!  Stop it!  It just makes you look stupid!

My facial today was cancelled.  So I rescheduled my facial and manicure for tomorrow.  Since I was already downtown (5 min from my house) I decided to walk around a bit.  Who would have known I would find a great pair of shoes?!?

We ate dinner at Hola!, a cuban cafe downtown and then went for a short walk to the harbor.  It is so nice to live in such a beautiful place.

So I have been going to the gym for over a month.  three times a week.  I am getting stronger and losing weight, not as fast as I would like but that is how it goes.  By the end of the summer I hope to see REAL results.

here is a cute cartoon:

My current view:

At first I got upset when just said that I was ‘dog bed’ shaped.  But Sebastian slept on me for hours today and we were both perfectly comfortable so I guess it is maybe partially true.

“Insanity: doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.”

Albert Einstein

Einstein is one smart cookie but I must disagree.  This is not the definition of insanity.  This is the definition of Practicing!  Sane people do it all the time.
