Hello Friend,

How have you been?  I am feeling lazy today. Once again Celeste did not get up.  I want to go to the Y today to go swimming but I think that it is getting too late.  I think I will try to go tomorrow.  Or maybe I will walk on the beach instead.  Roo and I could use an outing.  I feel like I spend the whole day picking up dog toys.

I sent Aunt Claire a text telling her not to just leave family stuff she doesnt want at my house.  It really upsets me that she doesnt want me in her life and when she leaves stuff and dosent talk to me and it brings it all to the surface.  She says that I should feel guilty but I dont know for what.  I miss her. 🙁

Dear Dokajeb,

Justin’s surgery went well and he is resting.  He is in no more pain than usual. I am very anxious for them to turn on the thing they implanted in his back.

Celeste ‘forgot’ to wake up for gymnastics this morning.  Ah teenagers :P.  If it is something that she wants to do she has to get her self up.  It starts at 9:30 so that shouldn’t be too hard to do.

I’m having the gardener plant some new flowers out front.  The other plants died over the winter so we need something other than brown out there.  I’m going to have to remember to water them :/.  Maybe I’ll pay Celeste to do it

Celeste and Justin at Jaime’s Seder

Dear Dokajeb,

I am at the Orange Park Medical Ctr waiting for Justin to get out of surgery.  He is having something installed in his back to help relieve pain.  I sure hope that it works.  

We have been waiting for this surgery for what seems like forever.  It feels as if our lives have been on hold for over year while Justin has been experiencing debilitating back pain.  I’m not sure what we are going to do if this surgery is unsuccessful.

I have decided to change to format of my posts.  Since no one really looks at this but me, I am doing it for my own amusement.

Spring in Florida is like summer up north.  It is in the mid to upper 80’s and very sunny (except when it is raining) . Right now it is cloudy and windy and I’m enjoying it fully.  The water temp right now is 78.  We may go for a dip in the ocean this weekend . 

Due to a clerical error on my part, I have been unable to post anything for quite some time.  The problem, however, has been corrected.

Celeste came to stay with us in March.  It is so nice to have a girl 🙂 

It is the best of times, it is the worst of times, it is the spring of hope, it is the winter of despair, we have everything before us, we have nothing before us.

It is a new year. Maybe this one will be better than the last.  So far I’m lonely ?

Tomorrow is the 1st day back to school after the hurricane and vacation. I hope everybody does well.  

There is nothing like a few days without power to remind me how lucky we are to live in such a nice house with so many conveniences.  And I am willing to go a few days without power to live on an island as great as this.
